Online ATEX course about the risks of atmospheric explosion and how to avoid it

Content in the ATEX couse

Does your company have areas with atmospheric explosion? Then your employees need training and comply with the ATEX directives! This is the responsibility of the employer. 

In this ATEX course you will learn about the rules and regulations according to the ATEX directives, which are common European legislation.

Furthermore, the course will teach you about these things:

  1. Introduction – What is ATEX, explosive atmosphere, the ATEX directives, danish implementation/law, industries and places, ATEX work place assessment (APV) etc.
  2. Flammable substances – oxygen level, substances, gasses, liquids, dust, explosion limits, treatment of flammable substances etc.
  3. Ignition sources and prevention – description of various ignition sources and how to prevent, storage of gasses, limitation of harmful effects
  4. Administration – administrative precautions, zone classifications, markings and signs, instruction and training, the every day work
  5. First Aid – The most important parts of first aid, both regular first aid and in regards to explosions


With our course, you will have a solid foundation for working in an ATEX zone.

In order to complete the course, there is a final test that needs to be passed successfully. After passing the final test a certificate of completion will automatically be generated. 

If you are a large organisation, we can offer you an admin access, so you can run reports and certificates etc., whenever you need.
